Acceptance of Terms

By using OpenSnap, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

License

OpenSnap is free, open-source software released under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute it under the terms of that license.

No Warranty

OpenSnap is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The authors are not liable for any damages arising from its use. You use the software at your own risk.

Data Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your screenshots. OpenSnap saves files to your chosen location, but this is a convenience feature, not a guarantee. The authors are not responsible for data loss resulting from file system errors, failed backups, or user error.

Service Availability

OpenSnap runs entirely on your device. No internet connection is required. There is no hosted service to go down. The application is self-contained and does not depend on external infrastructure for core functionality. The optional update check contacts GitHub's public API but is not required for the application to function.

User Conduct

You agree not to use OpenSnap for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date.
